All in Before the Movies
Cal is finally back on planet earth and just in time as well, Sam was starting to get a little bit too cozy in the BtM studio.
Cal has once again gone on a Pokemon journey and Bob had to pop out to get some milk, so we pre-recorded this episode when it was far more timely. Basically its just an hour long ramble about games.
It is the brain, the little grey cells on which one must rely if one is to solve the mystery of the cuttlefish and the cat.
Note: The next installment of Before the Movies will not be added to YouTube
Marvel and Sony have seen fit to release 10^6 trailers for Spiderman Homecoming to the point where Bob gives a rundown of the entire films plot from start to end. With that out of his system he and Cal wonder why Valerian doesn't have jet packs.
This time we only talk about films we've either never heard of before or have heard so incredibly little we still had no idea what it was gonna be.
This time Cal forgets who Sigourney Weaver is and Bob has a mystery theme for the episode, can you guess what it is???????
This fortnight we don't talk about that leaked-and-really-hard-to-find Krypton trailer or the Cloak and Dagger trailer (not that theres much to talk about). Instead we talk about the wonderfully colourful Thor Ragnarok and the cryptic Star Wars VIII The Last Jedi.
Things get serious this time around, in light of the very revealing (and not in the fun way) Spider-Man trailer Bob and Cal revisit the age old conundrum "How much of a films plot do you put in the trailer?". The answer may not surprise you.
This one is jammed packed with relevant and insightful commentary. Plus we cover like 7 and a bit trailers, yeah we work super hard this time.
Cal spends a good 15 minutes talking about the cast of Friends, I have no idea why.
The Chips were down this fortnight and the hosts were feeling a bit Meh, but at least theres always good ol' Hugh Jackman to give us something to talk about.
Cal turned 10 this week and so has set off a Pokemon adventure, which unfortunately means this fortnights episode isn't exactly "fresh", it was recorded a while ago but like 8 good trailers dropped the day after so it's been sitting on the shelf ever since. But don't fret new and exciting episodes will be available once Cal completes his quest.
Today we talk about the freshest of fresh trailers for Mass Effect Andromeda, Wonder Woman & The Lego Batman Movie. Because here at Before The Movies are the Fresh Trailer People
This time Cal tries to sabotage the episode by eating ice cream as loud as he can. What a jerk. Meanwhile Bob tries to wrap his head around the X-Men movies timeline causing him to spontaneously combust.
When not chewing or combusting they also talk Guardians of the Galaxy, Logan, Assassins Creed, Red Dead Redemption 2 & the Nintendo Switch.
We return to our scheduled broadcast to cover a tiny portion of the plethora of trailers that have recently surfaced, must be some sort of Comic-Con on again.
Sam has used his majority stake in the Videoshops' shares to force his way back onto Before The Movies injuring James in the process, causing him to be forever known as Peg-Leg James.
Why would Sam do something so horrible and reckless you ask? Well he really wanted to talk about Doctor Who and Transformers.
In this rip-roaring installment of Before The Movies Cal foolishly purchased a creepy old board game, forcing Bob to ‘Live By Night’ for fear of becoming one of Cal’s ‘Passengers’ on his crazy journey to ‘Westworld’ to witness the ‘Birth of the Dragon’ and thus dispel the evil ‘Ouija’ Board.
Oh and they finally get around to talking about Moana.
